Program Overview
For over 60 years, ABGC Soccer has been a cornerstone of youth sports in Northern Virginia. Our recreational program reflects that tradition by offering:
- An inclusive, community-focused environment
- Age-appropriate instruction
- Experienced program leadership
- A proven pathway from recreational to competitive soccer (for those interested)
The goal of Ages 2-3 Soccer is to introduce soccer to your child with a main focus on having fun. We hope that this will allow your child to build a basic foundation in soccer, build stamina, and get some exercise all while having fun!
Each practice session will have a main focus on soccer, but will incorporate many other non-soccer related activities (i.e. songs, obstacle course, tag, etc.) A parent/caretaker is required to stay with their child during each practice to assist with the skills.
This age group only has 1 session per week- there are not any games on the weekends.
Jersey Included
The cost of your player's jersey is included in the registration fee.
Parent Youth Bonding
Parents stay with their youth during practices to which fosters a strong family bond through play.
Location
Sessions are scheduled at the James Lee Community Center on Wednesday evenings.

The goal of this program is to introduce soccer to your child with a main focus on having fun.
