We Are More Than Sports.
We Are A Community Built for Kids.
For over six decades, Annandale Boys & Girls Club has provided safe, affordable, and high-quality youth sports and programs for families across Northern Virginia.
Who We Are
Founded in 1959, Annandale Boys & Girls Club (ABGC) is one of the longest-running youth sports and enrichment organizations in Northern Virginia. We exist for one reason: to give kids a positive place to grow, on the field, in the gym, and in the community.
ABGC is a community-driven, volunteer-supported nonprofit that serves thousands of local families each year. While we offer competitive opportunities for those who want them, our core belief is simple: every child deserves a chance to play, belong, and improve.
What Sets ABGC Apart
60+ years serving local families
We’ve been doing this for generations. Many of today’s parents once played here themselves.
Recreational to competitive pathways
Kids can start recreationally and grow into higher levels—without needing to leave ABGC.
Nonprofit, mission-driven
Fees go back into facilities, equipment, scholarships, and program improvement—not shareholders.
Safety, development, and sportsmanship first
All coaches are vetted and trained with an emphasis on positive youth development.
Our Philosophy
At ABGC, winning matters, but development matters more.
We focus on:
- Teaching fundamentals correctly
- Encouraging teamwork and accountability
- Creating age-appropriate competition
- Building confidence, not burnout
Kids learn how to win with humility, lose with resilience, and support teammates along the way.

A Legacy Since 1959
ABGC began as a small, volunteer-run organization with a simple goal: give local kids a place to play sports safely.
Over the decades, the Club has grown alongside the community—expanding programs, improving facilities, and adapting to the changing needs of families—while staying true to its founding values.
Today, ABGC remains locally governed, locally supported, and locally focused.
